a. hartrodt is an independent, privately owned company and still managed by the shareholders who take direct interest in the day to day running of the business. It is especially our independence that guarantees all our customers an entire neutrality in all areas of the transport handling and storage of data.

Today freight forwarders deal with sensitive documents such as commercial invoices and trading documents and it is therefore even more important that no parent company of any industrial group will have access to freight forwarding data. We are of the opinion that only really independent and neutral freight forwarders will be in a position to satisfy such requirements. As mentioned, we are privately owned and are not affiliated with any industrial group that might be interested in data regarding certain trading pattern or business in general.
The company of a. hartrodt is fully aware of this responsibility and therefore always setting high standards when selecting their freight forwarding partners in Europe and Overseas - we expect them to be neutral and independent and to work in line with our own philosophy.
Although we do have at our disposal all technical prerequisites to scan company logos and to include them in our documents and presentations, we also understand the need to protect copyright material such as client logos or client specific name design. We at a. hartrodt will only use scanned logos of customers in our presentation, quotations or other documentation upon having received their written consent. |
Furthermore scanning of commercial invoice data or other confidential documents will only be done upon having received our customers written consent. Transfer of data is only related to transport and shipping information, unless specifically agreed upon.
